“La Sombra” is symbol of rebel, individualist, brave and independent man not only in actions, but in clothes too.
Ricardo’s friends in Moscow were interested in his clothes. They became distributors of his products and advised to register trade mark and create corporate style. Ricardo Cardona decided to collaborate with Russian designers, and sent order to “Yellow Dog” through his friends. We started from the most important point – naming.
Client wanted to see name in Spanish, well sounded and easy to remember. From all the variants we chose “La Sombra”, in English it means “shadow”. This name not only well sounded, but well reflects essence of product – mainly headwear, protecting from the sun: stylish panamas, baseball caps etc.
Bright visual image was born instantly – daring horseman in sombrero, hero of films about adventures, about prairies and brave guys; “Shadow-man” who write with lasso name of the brand “La Sombra”. In our opinion, it reflects mood and emphasize specifics of young customers, who are target audience of “La Sombra”. “La Sombra” is symbol of rebel, individualist, brave and independent man not only in actions, but in clothes too. Our collaboration with Ricardo continues – “Yellow Dog” designers now create collection of headwear “La Sombra”.
